Liquid Mirror is an in-salon shine treatment for dull and porous hair. The hairdresser washes the hair, applies the product to the entire length, leaves it on for fifteen to twenty minutes, and then finishes the care routine, dries, and styles. The hair has a distinct, mirror-like shine and a smoother surface. The treatment does not straighten — it works on the hair surface and washes out with subsequent washes.

How is the treatment performed?

How long does the effect last?
The shine washes out gradually with subsequent washes — this is not a permanent treatment and there is no regrowth with a visible line. How many washes it will last for you depends on your hair and what you wash it with. Gentle washing helps to retain the shine longer. For home use, we recommend Amazon Oils oil ampoules on damp or dry lengths, leave-in.

Will this treatment damage my hair?
In this ritual, there is no straightening section by section — the product works on the hair surface, and at the end, the hair is dried with a brush or a diffuser. The hairdresser assesses its condition before the treatment. Mention a sensitive scalp when booking; if you react badly to preservatives or fragrances, check the full ingredients list before the appointment.
After how many days can I wash my hair?
You do not have to postpone washing. The treatment ends with care and drying, so you leave the salon with a finished hairstyle. Do the next wash when you usually do it, using a mild shampoo — every wash takes away some shine, so harsh cleansing shortens the effect the fastest. Regular oiling of the lengths helps to retain it.
Can I get this treatment together with colouring?
Yes, and it is one of the most common combinations. Liquid Mirror does not change the colour or strip it, so in practice, the colour goes first, and the shine treatment closes the visit — hair after colouring can be porous and dull, and this treatment works specifically on the surface and shine. Agree on the order with your hairdresser when booking.
Is the treatment for Coloured / bleached hair?
Yes, this is one of the main indications — hair after colouring can be porous and dull, and after the treatment, the colour looks deeper. With heavily bleached hair, it is worth remembering that a shine treatment will not replace rebuilding: if the strands break, the rebuilding ritual comes first, and the shine only later.
Is it suitable for fine hair?
Yes, but in moderation. With very fine hair that quickly becomes oily, the product easily weighs it down, so the hairdresser applies it sparingly and avoids the scalp area. Mention this when booking. If your hair feels heavy after the treatment, a smaller amount of the product will be sufficient at your next visit.
What to wash your hair with after the treatment?
With a mild shampoo, without harsh cleansing — strong washing strips the shine the fastest. This is a separate step, not part of the in-salon treatment; mild washing helps maintain the effect for longer.
How does this ritual differ from NanoGloss nanoplastia?
Nanoplastia straightens and noticeably reduces volume — it changes the appearance of the hair more strongly, and the visit is longer. Liquid Mirror works on the surface: it provides shine and smoothness, but it does not remove waves and washes out with subsequent washes. If you are only after the shine, the latter is enough.
