Cacau BTOX is an in-salon smoothing treatment for thick hair with high volume, which frizzes in damp weather. The hairdresser washes the hair with a cleansing shampoo, applies a cocoa mask section by section on the lengths and ends, and after the processing time rinses it out thoroughly. The hair is less frizzy, soft, and easier to style. The effect is visible after the first styling.

Cacau BTOX does not straighten the hair and does not change its colour — it is a rinse-out mask that calms frizz and volume, but does not provide straight lengths like nanoplastia.
How is the treatment performed?
Time in the chair: about 2 hours for medium length; the product itself processes for 20–40 minutes
- Consultation — the hairdresser examines the hair and determines whether this ritual is appropriate.
- Washing with a cleansing shampoo, thorough rinsing out and towel-drying the hair.
- Applying the mask with a brush, section by section, to lengths and ends.
- Processing time of the product on the hair: from twenty to forty minutes.
- Thorough rinsing out with water — it is a rinse-out treatment, nothing remains on the hair.
- Drying and styling according to the effect you choose — smooth with a brush or naturally.
How long does it take and how much does it cost?
Time in the chair: approximately two hours for medium length, of which the product itself processes on the hair for 20–40 minutes. The price is set by the salon — we do not maintain a price list for treatments. According to the cenauslug.pl price guide, smoothing treatments with a mask without a flat iron usually cost 250–500 PLN, and the amount is determined by the length and density of the hair. The price includes hair preparation, the product, the stylist's work, as well as drying and styling. This is an example from a single source, not our price proposal.

How long does the effect last?
How long the effect lasts depends on the hair type, washing frequency and what you wash your hair with at home. The manufacturer's documentation does not provide a number of weeks for this treatment, so we do not provide it. Gentle washing helps to maintain the effect longer. For home use, we recommend the mask and leave-in cream from the Oil Premium line, described below.

Questions and answers
Will this treatment damage my hair?
It is a rinse-out mask. The stylist applies it with a brush to lengths and ends, and after the processing time, rinses it out with water — there is no straightening section by section here. The full ingredients list is with the product in the catalogue; if you react badly to isothiazolinone preservatives or fragrance ingredients, check it before the treatment and mention it when booking. The stylist assesses the condition of the hair before starting anyway.
After how many days can I wash my hair?
This mask is rinsed out while still at the salon, so there is no period during which you are not allowed to wash your hair — the product documentation contains no such recommendation. When to wash your hair for the first time at home and with what, you should agree with the stylist: it depends on what else you did during the visit, and not on the treatment itself.
Can I colour my hair before or after the treatment?
Cacau BTOX does not change the colour and does not lighten the hair, so it does not interfere with colouring. It is different with fresh lightening — then the treatment is postponed, and the interval is determined by the stylist. Mention when booking when you last coloured or bleached your hair; this changes the visit plan more than the treatment itself.
Is the treatment for Coloured / bleached hair?
For coloured hair — yes, if it is thick and prone to frizz, as this is what this treatment helps with the most. After fresh lightening, you need to wait. Is Cacau BTOX suitable for fine hair?
Rather not. The treatment calms the volume, so fine hair without volume may look flat afterwards. For such hair, a ritual that adds bounce and volume to the lengths — Bioplastia Fusion — will work better. If you do not know which group your hair belongs to, the stylist will determine this during the consultation before the treatment.
How many times a year can it be repeated?
The rhythm is determined by the hairdresser after examining the hair. The manufacturer's documentation mentions repeatable professional use, but does not specify a maximum number of treatments per year, so we do not invent it. In practice, it is determined by how quickly the frizz returns — and what else is happening with the hair, e.g. colouring.
What to wash your hair with after the treatment?
With a mild shampoo, without harsh cleansing. How does Cacau BTOX differ from NanoGloss nanoplasty?
Nanoplasty is strong smoothing sealed with a flat iron: the hair after it is noticeably straighter and changes its appearance more. Cacau BTOX is a rinse-out mask without straightening — it calms the frizz and volume, and the visit is shorter. If you want straight lengths, choose nanoplasty; if you want calmer, easier to manage hair — this ritual.
